Canary Beacon — Brand & Dashboards

Canary Beacon is a custom monitoring dashboard system designed for mining operations, focused on real-time environmental tracking, device monitoring, and operational visibility across multiple levels underground.

The project began with an existing concept and early dashboard structure provided by the client. My role was to transform those initial ideas into a more refined, scalable, and visually cohesive product experience while building a complete brand identity around the platform.

From logo creation and visual direction to the final dashboard interface design, the goal was to create a modern system that feels reliable, industrial, and highly functional while remaining clean and easy to navigate in high-pressure operational environments.

The interface was designed around clarity, readability, and operational efficiency. Large data panels, simplified navigation, and structured information hierarchy were implemented to improve usability and allow users to quickly interpret critical monitoring data.

The visual direction combines industrial-inspired dark surfaces with clean white interface layouts and high-contrast alert colors to create a balance between professionalism and functionality.
